As young ambassadors of Ladakhi food identity and traditions we make it a point to serve a native palette that represents the food culture of our land in relation to the very season/time of your visit so you live and experience authentic Trans-Himalayan food traditions the way our ancestors did.
We take you on an indigenous gastronomic journey which is a microcosm of the "food of our fathers"; developed over time for a robust life amidst the moonscape environs of the region.
Lunch is hosted at a family home, a beautiful mix of traditional and modern sensibilities, combining traditional architecture with modern amenities to provide a memorable experience to guests.
The almost 3-hour long luncheon goes above and beyond just the food on the plate and leaves the guests richer not just in sustenance, but also the beautiful culinary narratives honouring an ancient indigenous food and food culture.
This meal experience is specially curated keeping in mind the preferences/restrictions/tolerances of the guest’s food/diet. This mindful planning allows for a memorable enjoyment of the spread over a couple of hours of organic, innovative, homemade fare prepared in sync with what the earth and the elements sustain and the local traditions permit.
