This gorgeous hill station in Kerala’s Iddukki station begs to be explored on foot. The pristine air, the beautiful landscapes and the friendly locals make the entire experience a memorable one. You will follow the many narratives of its history and heritage and the unique aspect of its natural bounty, such as its ideal location for tea and spice plantations, the blooming of the unique kirunji flower in these blue hills every 12 years and much more
We will embark on a 3-hour STORYTELLING session on Munnar coupled with visits to some of the iconic landmarks in around Munnar which stand testament to the march of time in this lovely hill station. The tour includes Head Works Dam (used for first hydroelectricity project in Kerala), Church of South India, the Roman Catholic churches built during colonial times, World War II memorial, Ropeway station (which is the present logistic office for KDHP), Lodge Heather etc. The walk will also give you a glimpse of present-day Munnar and its customs and is the perfect opportunity to get to know your holiday spot better.
